An inspiring place to visit — and paint!
This painting is one of the first pieces I created after moving to Greenville, SC from my hometown of Milwaukee, WI.
What a change! We had no idea what it meant to uproot our lives and move across the country to a place where we knew nobody. Not a soul. Just the three of us.
Most of the change was good, but as with any major life decision, there are always downsides.
This painting reminds me of the intense feelings of happiness I had when I first fell in love with this warm and sunny place called Travelers Rest, South Carolina.
