What I Believe

Below you will find my personal Statement of Faith

What I Believe

Biblical truth that I live my life by

  • God is Father, Son and Holy Spirit, creator of all things. 1 John 5:7-8
  • Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, crucified, died and buried, was resurrected, ascended into heaven and is now seated at the right hand of God the Father and is true God and true man. Matthew 1:18, 1 Corinthians 15:4, Mark 16:19,
  • The Bible is the inspired Word of God and is to be the authoritative rule for all believers. 2 Timothy 3:16
  • Sin is defined as anything that is not done in faith causing us all to be guilty and in need of salvation. While we were sinners Christ died for us, therefore our sins are not being counted against us. Salvation has been provided through Jesus Christ as a gift for everyone. We receive salvation by grace through faith. Romans 14:23, Romans 3:23, Romans 5:8, Romans 4:8, Titus 2:11, Ephesians 2:8
  • There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ. Romans 8:1
  • We are righteousness by faith in Christ not by our own doing. Romans 3:22
  • The judgement of God has been passed unto Jesus. God is not judging anyone at this time. A judgement day is coming but it is not today. John 5:22, John 12:47, Acts 17:31
  • The Old Testament was a type and shadow of better things to come, and the New Testament is the perfect expression of God’s Will and character as expressed through Jesus Christ. Colossians 2:17, Hebrews 1:3, John 12:45
  • Christ is the end of the law, therefore we are not under law but under grace. Romans 10:4, Romans 6:14.
  • Every believer can be filled with the Holy Spirit which gives us power to do the works that Christ did. Acts 1:8, 2 Corinthians 13:14, John 14:12
  • Baptisms is a symbol of the cleansing power of God and a testimony of our faith in Christ.
  • Divine healing is for everyone and was included in Christ's sacrifice - 1 Peter 2:24
  • We don’t have to be ignorant but can know what God’s will is. His will (his intent, plan and desire for us) is always good, perfect and pleasing and to experience heaven on earth. Ephesians 5:17. Romans 12:2, Matthew 6:10
  • God’s plan for his children is to prosper them, for them to live abundant lives, not lacking anything. He desires that they always have all that they need in all things, at all times. That they be made rich in every way so they can be generous on every occasion. Jeremiah 29:11. 3 John 1:2, John 10:10, James 1:4, 2 Corinthians 9:8, 2 Corinthians 9:11
