Challenges make us better people. They move us forward in life, bit by bit. They improve our ability to rise to the occasion in any situation we experience, personally, spiritually, and relationally.

It can be tempting in our busy lives to overlook our need for growth and simply subsist in the status quo - just getting by... surviving. We get challenged, but only in reaction to external circumstances. We enhance our ability to respond instead of react by taking on challenge rather than simply waiting for it.

Our Cha-Cha-Challenge is a weekly email suggestion to challenge yourself in different areas of your life. Most of the challenges are portable, something you can do anywhere, anytime. If this sounds fun, join the challenge below!

Challenge #1

Brendan Burchard suggests we set a standard whenever we leave the presence of another person that identifies the emotion and feeling we have for them. In essence we should always leave with a good impression, with something for others to remember us by. We do this by saying something akin to, I really admire, love, appreciate, [fill in the blank], or care about you. Endings matter as much, if not more than, first impressions.

Action: Take the time this week to let 3 people know what you feel about them when you leave. Do it more if you feel inspired.
