The book for September will be The Roll Model by Jill Miller

Nowadays my newsfeed seems to be littered with people trying to sell me the Coles notes of modern self development books. At first I though this was GENIUS - get the buff without the fluff ?!

Then I realize I want the opposite- I want to dive deep. I want to connect with my body while reading - I want to embody the book in all of it's aspects.

This ☝️☝️☝️ is what makes healthy change sustainable!

You can read a million books about making a healthy change in your life but the actual change starts with you connecting.

The goal of Sweat & Yoga has always been to help others connect to their body mind and soul. To make working out and working the body while connecting to it fun and sustainable.

Resources like books, & movement classes are a great way to do that.

When we skim over the jist of the book and only look for the glitz and glamour, fast action, quick pill solution we miss so much.

As millennials we tend to be trained to do just that - look for the quick way- but trust me when I say our mind enjoys the slow process of embodying a book and really living the yoga. {super yogi woo woo but it's true }
